morning, noon and night - Saturday 14 June

{morning, noon and night}
Linking up with the wonderful Kim from Mothering with Mindfulness
Sharing three little peeks into our day.

7:30am We woke up to a cold and rainy morning, and even though our swimming lessons were indoors, we decided to give them a miss.  As we cuddled up under a blanket on the lounge and watched cartoons, we both thought we had made the right decision.

1:00pm After lunch we had our first attempt at making a rainbow loom bracelet.  They're all the rage, and even though instructions were included, l had to consult You Tube.

 8:00pm Bella feeding Olaf for the first time.  Olaf is an young Echidna we have been hand raising since January.  He's now ready for life in the wild and is due for release next weekend.

  1. Looks like a great day at home Chrisy - sometimes that's what makes a wonderful weekend! Hope Olaf's release goes well - I'm sure it will be bittersweet.

    1. It was a good day at home, just what the doctor ordered really.
      I'm sure Olaf's release will go well, the little guys is SO ready to go now. He'll be clicking his heals up as he heads off into the bush. xx

  2. Oh my, what a great day! I think your morning at home sounds just about perfect. The rainbow loom is popular over there too, eh? The kids here love it! All the best for Olaf's release. I am sure you guys will miss him.

    Thanks for playing along. xo

    1. Yep, the rainbow loom craze has been going here for a while. We've been able to dodge it until Bella was given a kit for her birthday. ;) So much plastic, but it is good for their hand/eye coordination l guess.
      After being with us for 6 months, we will miss Olaf. Not sure he will miss us though, it's amazing after all this time, he's developed no attachment to us at all. Which is a good thing for an animal going back into the wild!
